Product Features
The Cast Recessed Cover Single Bag Filter employs a side-in, bottom-out filtration method. Its side-entry design allows for flexible connection to any feed port orientation. The simple filter structure facilitates easier cleaning. An adjustable filter bag clamping device ensures superior sealing performance. The top cover, secured with bolts and precision-cast, can withstand higher pressures and meets ASHRAE and CE standards.
- Side Inlet with Drainage Cover
The side inlet design, complemented by a drainage cover, prevents unfiltered liquid from overflowing. This feature ensures operational safety and simplifies cleaning and filter bag replacement. - Adjustable Cover Opening Direction
Our recessed cover can be adjusted to open in different directions, making it easier to install in tight spaces. Whether your layout involves walls, columns, or other obstacles, this feature ensures seamless integration into your system. - 360° Compression Sealing
A reliable compression sealing device creates a complete 360° seal between the filter bag and the housing. This ensures no liquid bypasses the filtration process, delivering accurate and consistent results. - Ergonomic One-Piece Cover Handle
Designed for convenience, the one-piece cover handle is easy to grip and open, streamlining daily operations and reducing effort during maintenance. - Flexible Connection Options
Available in standard threaded or flanged connections, this filter adapts to diverse industrial applications and simplifies integration with existing pipelines. - Smooth, Hygienic Finish
The interior of the filter housing, featuring a polished pearlescent finish and welded seams, is visually appealing and easy to clean. This ensures hygienic operation, particularly in sensitive applications.

How to Install the Cast Recessed Cover Single Bag Filter?
Preparation
Before installing, please ensure the work area is clear and all the necessary components are readily available.
Required Components
- Bag filter unit
- O-ring seals
- Metal inner mesh
- Filter bag
- Pressure gauge (1 piece)
Safety Warning
Warning: When opening the cover, ensure you support it properly to prevent it from falling, as a falling cover may cause injury.
- Confirm that all necessary accessories and tools are prepared for installation.
- Inspect the filter unit’s O-ring seals and grooves carefully. Replace any seals that are deformed, scratched, cracked, or have damaged joints to ensure proper sealing during operation.
Installation Steps
Follow these steps to install the Cast Recessed Cover Single Bag Filter correctly and safely:
Position the Filter Unit
- Place the bag filter unit in the designated filtration location.
- Connect the inlet and outlet flanges or pipe threads, ensuring secure and proper alignment.
- Block the exhaust port or install an exhaust valve. If using a jacket-type insulation, connect it to the heat source.
Insert the Metal Inner Mesh
- Gently place the metal inner mesh inside the filter housing. Align the inner mesh’s collar with the bag filter’s opening.
Install the Filter Bag
- Position the filter bag so that its ring opening matches the collar of the metal inner mesh.
- Note: If using sewn filter bags, fold the sewn edge before insertion to improve filtration efficiency.
Position the O-Ring
- Insert the O-ring into the groove carefully. Ensure that it is not twisted or deformed. For multi-bag filters, secure the filter bag clamping ring firmly.
Attach the Upper Cover
- Hold the upper cover handle with one hand while supporting the other end of the cover. (For multi-bag filters, rotate the top handle as needed.)
- Align the upper cover with the filter housing opening and lower it slowly until it rests evenly on the O-ring and filter bag ring opening.
Tighten the Lifting Nuts
- Once aligned, tighten the two diagonal lifting nuts simultaneously to ensure even pressure.
- Proceed to tighten all the lifting nuts one by one. Use a short rod inserted into the lifting ring to apply sufficient torque.
Close the Exhaust Valve
- Ensure the exhaust valve installed at the top of the filter machine is closed securely.
Check Connections
- Inspect all connected pipes to ensure they are secure and free of leaks. Verify that the working pressure remains within the recommended range.
Activate the Heat Source
- Open the output valve and the heat source inlet valve. Allow the filter temperature to rise gradually to the required operating temperature.
Introduce the Filtration Liquid
- Slowly open the input valve to allow liquid to flow into the filter housing. Fill the filter gradually to prevent sudden pressure impact, which could damage the filter bag.
- Observe for any leaks around the housing and connections. If no leaks are detected, the filtration process is ready to begin.
Final Checks
- Verify that all parts, including the filter bag and O-ring seal, are correctly installed.
- Ensure the system operates within the specified pressure and temperature limits for optimal performance and safety.
- Monitor the initial filtration process to confirm stable operation without any irregularities.
By following these detailed installation instructions, you can ensure a safe and efficient setup of your Cast Recessed Cover Single Bag Filter, which will provide reliable and long-lasting filtration performance.
